Playing some 600NL on Party. I get in LP. UTG limps, UTG +1 limps, rest fold to me. I raise to 30. Folds around to UTG, who calls, UTG+1 folds. UTG had 620 in front of him, I had 900. UTG had been at the table for a while. He was a pretty good player, and wasnt scared to put his money in the pot. I had seen him lead into the raiser for a pot sized bet with 99 on a flop of 458. But I had also seen him slowplay KK from UTG earlier in the session. Both these plays are going through my head

Needless to say, I like the flop. UTG bets 80 into me. Both of the earlier hands are going through my mind. He could have a set, but he could just be pushing an overpair as well, he would limp with big pairs from UTG. I raise to 240, he goes all-in, 320 more to me.

I dont like it, he could easily have a set, but I'm getting 2.75:1 on a call here. I figure I got at least 9 outs twice, possibly 14 twice (making me a favorite ), if he just has an overpair. I make the call.

Needless to say I am shocked. Take a stab at what he had - winner gets ... well nothing.

I would guess he had the ace flush draw or the straight flush draw. Regardless, this is a high variance play.
