I also agree with Yenool. If I've been raising 4-5x all night, even the drunkest dolt at the table is going to know something is amiss if I all of a sudden make it $2.50 to go with 9 guys to act behind me.
WRT SNGNoob's comment - most jackoffs at $25 NL aren't using PT and have no clue what it is. And I feel that I can outplay most $25 NL guys that are taking the game seriously and have PT after the flop anyways, so I'm not worried about it.
I've been experimenting with advice in NLTAP and have stopped making mechanical raises (4x+1, etc.). I raise anywhere from 3-9x now depending on position, how many in, who's in (TAG rounder, fish, etc.), and what I'm holding. I keep it fluid enough so that even a "solid" $25 NL has a hard time figuring out just what it is that I'm doing. Most guys, even the decent ones at this level, aren't paying attention to small fluxes in bet sizes, particulary PF. It's just ABC for them and that's it. Not bad, but not great.
