I had several big hands today in a one hour session.
#1) $200NL....1 limper. Button raises to $9. I call in the SB with
[Qh]. We're heads up.
Pot $21. Flop
[6c][2d]. I check, he bets $21. I check raise to $60. He instapushes. Its $130 to me. No reads. Its my 2nd hand at the table
#2) I raise to $8 with
[Ks]. Button calls.
Pot $19. Flop
[7d][3c]. I bet $15. He raises to $62...No reads..full stacks
#3) Fish limps UTG. I raise to $10 with KK. He calls.
Pot $23. Flop
[6s][3h]. He checks, I bet $20. He calls.
Pot $63. Turn
. He has $49 left and checks.
#4) $400NL
Cutoff raises to $14. I reraise pot ($48) with
[Ks]. He calls.
Pot $102. Flop
[7d][2s]. He checks, I bet $75 and he calls.
Pot $252. Turn
. He checks...do you bet here? or check and bet the river? Which gets paid off better?
#5) $400NL
This is the only hand with a read. Previously I raised $14 and this guy called with 64s. he called a 3/4 pot bet with a K65 flop and we checked it down. I had AJs and he won. Another time I raised with something and he led full pot into a 9xx flop and I folded.
So I raise to $14 with
[Ts]. He calls in the SB and the BB also calls.
Pot $42. Flop
[5h][3c]. He leads $30. BB folds. I raise to $120 and he calls.
Pot $282. Turn
. He checks. I have $265 left and he has me covered. Push? Check and try to keep the pot small?
