200NL Tribeca 6max

I'm $45 bucks from breaking my record for winnings in a month, so I figure I'll just be rockish and play a little. I got zero cards for 1/2 hour. VPIP under 10, so I have a tight image. Villain is a crazy calling station at 45/25. I've seen him raise 78o in LP.

I limp with 3[h] 3[d] in LP. 3 limpers.

Flop ($8) 3[c] 8[c] 5[c]. Villain is UTG and he leads full pot. In my experience, no one leads full pot with a flopped flush. I raise him to $25. He instacalls.

Turn 5[h] ($58). He pauses and leads $10. Huh. Does he have the A[c]? I just call.

River 9[c] ($78). He instapushes a full stack. Its $187 to call.

if he has 99 or 85 or some other such bullshit, then f it - you went broke with a boat vs an idiot. thats why you have a BR.

On another note, I make these stupid little3 challenges with myself all the time (how you were trying to play tight to break some arbitrary record). I always seem to regret it.

I'm surprised no one even considers folding. I actually thought about it. He could have 88 or 99 but more importantly this guy WAS a calling station even though he raised preflop like mad. When he came alive it really made me wonder.

He actually had 85 for a higher boat. Could I have folded, meh, probably not to this goofnut.

But I posted the hand because I think its 90% true that when a calling station goes bonkers (like his river push), he usually has the nuts.

I would think you would have to call a 45/25 who is capable of many hands that you can beat. There are only a few hands that beat you and I wouldn't think a 45/25 would enter UTG with an 8-5. This would be more like V$IP 75+.
