Heads up $1/$2 NL

Villain is passive and mediocre. Almost every time he calls a raise, he leads $2 into me. Ive raised him every time and hes folded every time. Its prolly been 5 times so far and I have had anything yet..but hes folded.

So I raise to $7 with TT and he calls.

Pot $14. Flop [Ts][8d]. He leads $2. I raise to $14 and he calls for the 1st time
Pot $42. Turn . He leads $12. I raise to $30 and he calls again.
Pot $102. River the ridiculously ugly . He leads $36. Is this EVER a buff?

I think your turn raise is way too small. I would call the river. He bet too small too fold. He could have an 8 or J9.

The turn rais is too small most of the time, but he only had about $80 left and I wanted HIM to push if he had something like J9 and him to call if he just had a Q

he was folding to turn raises also...if I only called his flop lead.

I call the river everyday. This could be a Queen, but just as well be a blocking bet with an 8 like A8/89/maybe J8s or a J9. I can see this guy playing AA/KK the same way.

Raise the turn to $45-$50 against a passive player to setup a riverpush. All of those above hands that I have making blocking bets on the river aren't folding here and you can get a passive player to feel he has action to a push at times, too. Problem is that he can fold a Queen, but he's OOP so his range on Queens is small- QT+, maybe Q9s and we know where 3 of the T's are plus AQ/KQ is a tough fold for him here.

My turn bet is already big enough for me to push the river which is obviously what I was going to do. The pot is $108 and he has like $60 left.

I folded and he showed K9. I dont understand how he can ever be bluffing there, which is why I posted this hand. Its all good though, I busted him about 10 mins later with Shobute watching.
