Thoughts?

Preflop: Hero is CO with , . UTG posts a blind of $0.50.
1 fold, Hero raises to $1.75, Button calls $1.75, 1 fold, UTG (poster) calls $1.25.

Flop: ($5.50) , , (4 players)
UTG checks, Hero bets $4, Button folds, UTG calls $4.

Turn: ($13.50) (3 players)
UTG bets $6, Hero raises to $12

Does this have any fold equity against made hands considering everyone says minraise = monster? Should I consider following up on the river if he just calls?

I'd make it a real raise before I min raised. But, why not just call and call again? Raising opens up the door for him to shove and put you to a REAL decision. If you call and he bets strong on the river - fold - if he bets weak, call.

Isn't this a LHE play to get a free river showdown like all the time unless he whamboozles it?

Ya just call cause he won't be a better jack on a scary river and won't bet like T8 and shit. He can like 3 bet alot which sucks but I guess its good if he has like T9 T8 or TJ.

Yeah, its an LHE play. But here's my post-event reasoning -

a) A river bet would be larger than my extra 6 bucks
b) I have 4 outs to improve, which although prolly wont get paid off, give me options to vbet if i improve or check behind unimproved.
c) I charge the draws a little more.
c) He may actually fold KJ. Unlikely, but maybe.
d) If he puts me to a decision, its an easy one. I can fold to a 3 bet with complete confidence. There arent a lot of mizors who'll bet/3bet with a draw. My own draw is crappy enough, i dont mind folding it.

I'm not sure that the average donk at NL50 knows that a min-raise on the turn is a monster hand most likely(even though that is usually in every donk's repertoire; funny, you'd think they recognize what plays they make that are obvious...hence why they are donks).

This hand looks like a good place to put in a normal raise because UTG looks like he is making a blocking bet, and didn't want to pay full price(because either he picked up a pair maybe w/ a straight draw[T9, Q9, JT] or a pair w/ a flush draw or maybe just had a weak pair and want to see if you only have overs). I think you are ahead here a good portion of the time here and a standard raise is best.

TBH, I am not sure what I would do on the river though if he calls a standard raise on the turn, but probably check it down.
