There is absolutely no way to get away on the turn when the pot is $8 and he has $12 left.

Your gut can't possibly tell you that you're beat until he raises the turn. At that point you have to put in less than $8 more to win about $26. No way you should fold that, because your gut can't be right that often.

Assuming you lost this hand, this is just a case of an ugly 2nd best, you played your hand fine.

Thanks for the replies - this was actually a pretty low content post, I agree, no way I should have folded.

Villian had 22 for the turned boat.

Had the stacks been deep (say 200x), I would have tried real hard to get to a cheap showdown (probably call the CR and check-called a small bet on the end, and probably would have folded to a large CR or push.

Anyone agree with this?
