Lately, I have been playing $3 NLHE and $6 NLHE with success. However, here is my problem. I will start winning and earn a stack but after I have earned a stack I leave the table. I do this so I can show a profit at the table then start fresh at a new table (I only play one table at a time).

When you started playing NLHE, did you do the same thing as myself? There is that fear, moslty because I am new to this, that I will lose it all stack on one hand. I think I will get over this fear eventually but I am trying to find comfort in playing a new variation to holdem. I have a decent BR for those levels (211.43), so am I being silly? Should I stick it out longer at the tables when I am making profit?

If you feel you have an edge over some (or all) players at the table, then keep playing and keep that stack growing.

You will find that weak players give you more credit and you can take down a lot of small/medium pots.

Also playing 300BB deep vs players with no clue is very profitable - push your monsters hard since they often over value one pair hands.

I understand your fear. You have just made yourself some money, your BR is looking better and you don't want to risk that.

As a rule, you want to have as much money at the table as possible. Lets say a retard doubles up and in the very next hand you get aces and he flops say a pair of queens with AQ. Or you flop a set and he flops TPTK. Obv in this spot you want all the money you can get.

Also if you are chopping and changing tables a lot you miss out on some of the reads you have built up over the period of time you have sat at a table. If you are at a table and you have a great read on 4 of the players there, why leave when you double up? Because you are afraid of a suckout?

Scared poker = Bad poker.

Sooner or later you are going to have to play deeper stacked poker, no time like the present!
