My notes on 28/25 opponent from one session, two tables:
"Seems to give up when misses flop. (He'd raised pre-flop then check-folded a few times, twice against me)
Saw me do crazy pre-flop 3-bet then push flop bluff"

Other stuff: I'd reraised him a couple of times (he was open raising to $20) and he'd folded. He'd reraised me once. Otherwise we hadn't really tangled.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $4 BB (6 handed) from (Format: Bet The Pot)

Button ($235.35)
SB ($402.30)
BB ($90.50)
UTG ($151.70)
MP ($73.60)
Hero ($420)

Preflop: Hero is CO with [Tc], [Th].
2 folds, Hero raises to $14, 1 fold, SB calls $12, 1 fold.

Flop: ($32) [8s], [3c], [4c] (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $22, SB raises to $65, Hero calls $43.

Turn: ($162) [2h] (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $130, SB calls $130.

River: ($422) [Ks] (2 players)
SB bets $193.3 (All-In), Hero ...

Thoughts on a hand range (and therefore call/fold)?

Opinions on flop/turn play also welcome.

this looks a lot like [Kc]x[c], though it could also be any missed clubs, [Ac][8c], or whatever.

i think you can call here. the way the hand went down, im pretty sure you were ahead on the turn. the river may have screwed you but he could also just be bluffing.

besides. his river shove is less than 1/2 pot. you're getting over 3:1 on the call.

First, I like Triple B analysis.

Your read indicates that he is on a weak-tight side, so I think that betting the turn was a big mistake there. Most of his range (sets, occasional QQ+ that he decided not to reraise) crush you. You are probably ahead of only [Ac] [Kc] that he could have here. (And of course some rare bluffs, 99, 55)

As played I think it is a fold. I wouldn't be surprised to see a KK from a weak-tightie here.
(Actually if one asked to put him exactly on a hand I would say KK.)

ok he check raises the flop then checks the turn? WTF

I see that with one of two hands, a set or a flush draw

either way I think you lost this hand to either A[c]K[c] or 33, 44, 88 but most likely he had a set

Honestly, I think folding the flop is best. If I called the flop and he checked to me, I would almost certainly bet the turn, but I think $100 is plenty.

This is a very confusing line.
Generally when I'm this confused I will call just to see what's going on.

Not to mention the pot odds you're getting, I would tell myself this must be missed clubs often enough.

But in theory it's probably a fold.

P.S. I like your flop play, but wouldn't mind a fold sometimes too. In my opinion, putting another bet in here is pretty bad unless there's special conditions.

I agree that this hand looks like missed clubs, but I don't see any clubs this villain could have. This guy must reraise AKs like all the time and probably AQs as well. He probably folds the rest OOP.

How about [Kc][Qc]? Thats what I think he has after more thought than I would possibly have at the table

The problem I see with checking behind on the turn is that there are alot of overcards that will outdraw you. How do you know he doesnt have club overcards? if he does, a $100 turn bet should make him fold. If you check behind, you have to call the river and you could be calling after getting outdrawn which means he plays perfectly.

If he has overcard clubs, he's not folding for 100.
