Actually I like the way you play it. I think an Ace is more likely than the flush draw and if he has a diamond kicker with his Ace he has a crapload of outs (3 for his kicker, 9 diamonds and an 8 or a K). There is a lot of scare cards and I don't think you can afford to give him a free card. I check behind on the river too.
