Hand 1) I wouldn't let him see a flop for free, you're likely ahead so I would raise. It's a blind battle and I'm only folding that river if I know he will never put in such a raise without a set or straight. I guess I would bet more on the river, at least 1/2 pot.

Hand 2) I don't think you lost enough money.

I agree that I should be raising KT when folded to me in the SB. The reason I didn't was because I had been raising his BB a lot (with legitimate holdings) and I thought he may re-raise me here and I wouldn't be able to call. Having said that, I do agree that I still should raise here.

Hand 2 REALLY felt like QT. Looking back I don't think I should fold though. Raising the turn is probably the best play then.

Call 1 because it's a blind battle.
Call 2 because you have a set and there's not a 4-flush or 4-straight on the board. Plus nobody ever threw in a raise, you have no reason at all to think you're dead. He has KJ J9 or K9 there most of the time.
