I think your raise preflop is a bit over sized. Post flop you're getting it in with Ace high, not sure that's a winning concept even against this guy. What's your reasoning here?

#2
The hand plays itself. You have 3:d nuts heads up on the flop. Villain probably has a set of Jacks.

#3
Fine to call in position with AKs against this possibly-tight player. You should bet POT on the flop and 3/4 on the turn. River bet looks a bit retarded. Either he had a draw and won't call anything, or he has a real hand and will call a real bet. Are you trying to induce a bluff? I wouldn't like to get check/raised on that river.

If you pot it on the flop, pot will be 55 on the turn. Then you bet 40. Now pot will be $135 on the river instead of $82. That's a profit increase of 65% by betting correctly.

Hmm.. just noticed caller was short. Pot the flop and put him in on the turn. That's the correct way to play it imo (and I just added that 'imo' to seem modest, it's the only correct way to play it).

Hand 1: If you are playing a maniac here, and can get him heads up with a smaller raise, I would make a smaller one preflop. After that, I am looking to make a decent hand on the flop with AK or I will probably check here and not make a CB. If an opponent is playing like a maniac and will not fold, will make bets when you check, and will pretty much see a showdown with any piece of the board even with you betting strongly, then I am waiting for a decent hand to get to showdown myself. This is definitely not the spot. I like bigger bets when you have the goods against this type of villian, and checking when you don't. Pretty simple, but against a maniac like this I think it's effective.

Hand 2: Pretty easy because it's the nuts, but if opponent has a big hand, I like a raise here on the flop which might make your hand look like an overpair and flush draw. I'm guessing your opponent overplayed his set there on the turn especially since he was behind every AK.

Hand 3: Exactly what Stoney said.
"Million dollar play, ten cent finish."

"My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives."

"Laugh and the world stares at you; cry, and the world stares at you."

Hand 1 I dont like with those stats he would most likely hit the flop he called preflop called the CB you'll only beat a missed flush draw. Id check/fold the turn

Hand 2 wot can you do there'd be a big beaming smile on my face with that flop.

Hand 3 Id re raise preflop to $14-15 try to get HU too many callers preflop IMO to just call preflop.. bet the pot on the flop and put him in on the turn

Hand #1 - Bet more on the flop, $14 is good. Check/fold once he calls.

Hand #2 - standard.

Hand #3 - i would re-raise preflop. AK plays badly multi-way. I would bet mre on the flop, more on the turn and more on the river.
Poker is silly.

It is not enough to be good at chess, you must also play well.

Somewhere in the world someone is training when you are not. When you race him, he will win.
