Without a particular read I check river in this situation,as I put him on a draw, or weak K.
With a weak K the problem is he is very likely paired his kicker 8,9,T, leaving only Q and J that would pay you on the river. Straight draw just got there, if he had a flush he is not calling anything, so a must check.
Being OOP sucks.
As played I fold, QJ, or he paired his kicker with K 9.
