Please critique my play in this hand at Party. Villian had VPIP of 12 and PFR% of 5.

Fold to his raise preflop, your hand is 2nd best to AA, KK, QQ, AK, AQ, all very likely holdings for someone as tight as him.

Once you've called however you need to raise the flop to find out where you are, if he calls/raises you're obviously done with the hand, calling really doesn't get you any information at all. Once you call the flop and turn you basically have to call the river tho imo, you're putting him on an underpair or KT which i think is a very very unlikely holding for him, perhaps AQ that kept betting or maybe the same hand as you is slightly more likely, but honestly you didn't play this hand very well at all from start to end.

Thanks for the replys. My normal play with KQs pre flop, is to limp and then call a raise if I am in position. Is this a good idea?
