I heard a saying recently that 'KQ rules the land on the unraised pot' well, lets put it to the test. Villain is 16/4/2.5, I have 700 hands on him. We've only tangled once previously when I had AK on K32 board raised pot out of position, I CR'd him and he pushed, I got away from it and he said he had AA which I had no reason to doubt since he said he put me on AK. This is at UB NL100 FR
PF (10-h): UTG+1 calls, MP1 calls, MP2 (Villain $99) calls, SB completes and BB (Hero, $94) checks with
Flop ($5): Checked around to MP2 (villain) bets $5, only BB (Hero) calls
Ok, I never know what to do with TPGK from the blinds. Do I lead out and represent? If someone raises me in MP-LP they could easily have QJ, QT and I'm forced to play a big pot or fold. Do I check call and try and exercise some pot control? Should I CR with this holding? I feel MHIG so I flat called
Turn ($15): BB bets $11, MP2 calls
Euch, didn't like that card, didn't like the call
River ($37): Great card, how to proceed now?
Looking back I'm really unsure about my flop play here so feel free to pull it to pieces. I felt a CR would have been better. But, as played how should I proceed on the river and why. I feel I'm ahead.
