right...what those guys said. limp reraising in EP is 99.9999999999% aces. it might be an OK move in tourney play but in cash games thus far, i've been able to exploit it the 20% of the time i'm supposed to crack aces.

you can use it to your advantage if you're trying to rep. aces against a LAGy raiser. just gotta know you're spot though.

Yeah as I have been thinking recently as well with the point you guys are driving home here. Unless I have a a couple crazies behind me, I think a raise is better as it desguises my hand better. Then the few times there are crazies try the limp-RR. This will give just enough variance for those who are paying attention.

Thanks Guys!

I believe that if you do the 2nd Hand Low play (limp re-raise from EP with AA/KK), you should also do it with other hands maybe 1/5 of the time. If they "know" you have AA/KK you won't get any action with these good hands. By doing it with others, you will be

1) having a lot of folds to your re-raise when you have a non-monster.

2) once they figure this out, you will occasionally get action with your monsters, even though you limp/raised it, because they won't necessarily believe you.

I think limp rrs seem to work best in loose passive donk fests like casinos.

They are more likely to call with a dominated hand, and less likely to be paying attn to your limp rr range.

Just play AK the same a good % of the time - of course as you guys know I limp push - at least until say 120BB+ deep - none of this playing OOP in big pots :)

I really like the limp RR idea if there's excessive raising. I think you get much more bang for your buck out of AA and KK that way. I agree that you can throw in an occasional AK (or JJ/QQ for that matter).

I also don't mind limp calling with AA/KK vs. a loose raiser. Basically, it depends on how much is in the pot before you pull the trigger. If it's not much, ok, you can limp re-raise maybe 3 x bet and hopefully get a call--and take down the pot most of the time anyway, although it's somewhat difficult (for me anyway) getting away from AA to a set after re-raising.

But you can also limp-call, let villain CB and then CR pretty much any flop. You win the vast majority of the time and usually get a fair amount more out of it than you would raising yourself.
