Hi,
I've played limit HE and 08, and also PLO8. But this is the first time I've ventured to play NL HE. I'd appreciate any feedback on the way I played these hands:
Party Poker
No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $0.10/$0.25
10 players
Pre-flop: (10 players) Hero is MP2 with
2 folds, UTG+2 calls, MP1 calls, Hero raises to $1.5, 2 folds, Button calls, SB calls, 2 folds, MP1 calls.
Flop: ($6.5, 4 players)
SB bets $2.21, MP1 folds, Hero folds
Was this fold insanely weak? I think it may have been. Would this be a good spot to raise, or at least call and reevalute on the turn? With three opponents, I figured it was very possible my hand was beat and there was still the button to act after me.
Pre-flop: (9 players) Hero is UTG+1 with
UTG folds, Hero raises to $1, MP1 folds, MP2 calls, MP3 folds, CO calls, 3 folds.
Flop: ($3.35, 3 players)
Hero bets $3, MP2 calls, CO calls.
Turn: ($12.35, 3 players)
Hero bets $4, MP2 raises all-in $4.9, CO calls, Hero calls.
River: ($27.05, 2 players + 1 all-in - Main pot: $27.05)
Hero is all-in $14.35
The reason I bet $4 on the turn was because I didn't realize the CO had also called. How much more should I have bet? Or should I have slowed down, figuring the calls on the flop indicated strength? I'm also not sure about my river bet. I think more than 50% of the hands that call me beat me.
Pre-flop: (10 players) Hero is BB with
UTG folds, UTG+1 calls, UTG+2 folds, MP1 calls, 4 folds, SB calls, Hero checks.
Flop: ($1, 4 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $0.75, UTG+1 folds, MP1 calls, SB folds.
Turn: ($2.5, 2 players)
Hero bets $2
Slow down or keep firing?
Thanks!
