But how monotonous and boring would it be? Poker to me as largely about the mental challenge as the money. You've said in past posts that you're comfortable money wise etc so why spend even an hour a day doing the same thing over and over for maybe $100? From your first "i quit" post it would seem to me that spending that hour playing Madden with your son would be time better spent.

Now if you were playing 'properly' and getting good reads and making moves and discovering new ways to beat regulars and found this fun and challenging then I can definitely see why playing poker would be a good idea. But once you work out a 'system' to shortstack robotically with then there really doesn't sound like there's much more in it for you other than a bit of extra cash.

Again if this worked at the 25/50 games and you were table to pull $500/hr doing it, then that's different, but I think those players would catch on and adjust ranges to you after a couple of days to reduce your EV and the player pool isn't big enough to just change tables at that stage.

Played 10 mins....got all in 4 times in 48 hands

#1) 1 limper..I raise to $4 with [Ah] in the BB. He calls. What does someone limp with that he wants to call $4 with from a guy who only has $20? I dont know and dont care.

Pot $8.50. Flop [9c][3d]. I check. Im too short to care about the flush draw. Im not folding no matter what so I might as well give him a chance to try to take it away. He bets $5. I CRAI. He calls with A3. I win

#2) The button open raises to $3. I shove from the BB. He folds and gets pissed and tells me he hates short stacks. I tell him I hate people who raise too much. A couple hands later. I open to $3.50 in the cutoff with AK. BB calls.

Flop KT7. He checks, I bet pot. He CRAI. I call. he has KQ. I win.

#3) Folded to me in the SB. I raise to $3 with KK. BB calls.

Flop QT9. I bet,,he min raises me. I shove and he calls with A9. I win.

#4) 2 limpers and I check with 53 in the BB.

Flop 554. I bet $2 into a $4 pot. UTG min raises me. Full stacked I would be vaery worried here. Im still worried but not folding a short stack. I call with the intention if CRAI the turn which is what I do. He had 44.

I win one or 2 other small pots and win $38 in 10 mins.
