I just played 50 hands and won another $75. Almost 4 of my 20BB stacks in 50 hands.
My win rate is now 23.13 PTBBs. Im doing "sklansky bucs" calulations on all my "all in" hands because there are alot of them and a big part of my win rate has to do with how well Im running. My "actual" win rate after factoring in the sklansky buc all ins is 12.56 PTBBs. So, Im running hot in my all ins, but if my true win rate is anywhere near 12 PTBBs I'll be very happy. Maybe peopel will adjust in time, but I doubt it. They just think "short stack....donk...let me get all in"
Examples from this mini session:
#1) Button open raises...I shove for $19 with AT. He calls with 77 and I win. I wont be shoving anything worse than 77 so I can never be a dog here.
#2) MP open raises to $3.50. I call in the BB with
[Jc]. Flop is
[7s][5h]. I check, He bets $6. I CRAI to $19. he calls with
[8s]. I win.
#3) I raise to $5 after a limper with
[Jd]. The BB reraises enough to put me all in for $19. I call. He has
[Jc]. I win
#4). Cutoff raises to $3. I have $22 and call with
[Ts]. BB also calls.
Pot $10. Flop
[Ks][4d]. Checked around
Pot $10. Turn
. They check to me. I bet $6 and take it down.
If anyone has interest in following this experiment I may start a short stack journal and post results and certain hands as I go.
Right now, Im at $133.77 / hr and my "actual" win rate is $72.64 / hr
