What are my options on the turn? I was originally planning to fire a bet if he checked it but his bet was quite large.

Fold? Call and fold river if he bets again? Raise to try and push him off a medium pair??

in general, i dont think its a good idea to float $25NL players...i think that they'll call you down way lighter than they should. hell, even at 100NL i dont like floating people.

Thats even a better idea Marshall! I did not even think of that. It is a bad idea to float pllayers in $25NL as they never fold overpairs or overs for that matter!

Yeah I think "good floating spot at $25 NL" is close to an oxymoron. It's right there with "good time to try to push a $25 NL player off of his overpair."
