At first I thought woah how the hell can someone who's progressed so much and plays decent stakes (I assume) just give it up. Then reading your sons comment I totally understand, gotta get things prioritised. I wouldn't say "play just 2-3 times a month", cos will you really be able to do that? Maybe just cut down a decent chunk. I feel sorry for you having to play less, but if your really not enjoying it now then fair enough.

IIRC you have a decent well paid police detective type job, so you obv don't need the money and if your not getting enjoyment then theres not a whole lot of point in playing.

If you wanna carry on a fair bit and continue I suggest getting a (or some) coaches (3-bet.net should sort you out very well). This could help you lots: if you increase your winrate you'll decrease your variance and increase your enjoyment I'm hoping to get some coaching at some point this year.
