Ive been on my "A" game for a 2 months now and Im shredding Tribeca. However, one of these is the first bad call Ive made in 6 weeks. Which is it?

#1) Button is brand new. He has a full stack and open limps on the button. SB folds and I raise to $8 in the BB with QQ. He calls.

Pot $17. Flop 866 rainbow. I bet $12 and he raises to $36. I think for a while and call.
Pot $89. Turn 9. I check and he pushes all in for $156. I call.

#2) MP limps. I raise to $8 with KQ. SB and the limper call.

A few hands ago, th SB limped K6 and then called a small raise. Flop was K66 and he got stacked when the turn was a T and raiser had TT. Nothing makes me happier than watching a fish get stacked.

Pot $26. Flop QT5 rainbow. Checked to me and I bet $20. SB check raises all in.

Its $74 to me with a $140 pot. I call.

Which call sucks and which one is good?

#2 is the Iceman power move with AA/KK: call the flop raise then check-raise any flop all-in. I guess if you're going to do it, you have to be ready to fold to it...?

One bad call in a month is just unreal, no reason to be mad about it
I wish I could get a brake and have another decent run for a weak or two, I don't even expect to see such a winning streak, as you say you had , for a while
I think it's even healthy to loose a hand from time to time, just so you get reminded that you are not Superman, and then if you hit another loosing streak you flip out and think about quiting the game again

I would probably fold the first one because of the bad odds. The second one you're geting good odds, but I might fold it because there aren't that many hands that you beat. QJ, KJ draw? You're behind AQ, QT.

Sure hand1 screams of a fishy play, but it's not an easy call without a read. I guess you did have a read in the overbet, but I don't think I would be able to make that call.
