UTG checks, I bet 10, CO minraises, UTG folds
What I do?
If call what is the plan for the rest of the hand?

Reads: this site doesn't support pocker tracker, so as a rough estimation CO is a tight player, and he did nothing in particular so far.

P.S. Should I have reraised preflop?

I don't play much 6max but I think JJ is a definite re-raise hand PF, what what i know you should be re-raising a lot more than in FR.

As for postflop, i'd re-raise to $40 and fold to a push, and check-fold to a call. I think there's a decent chance he has lower PP, though.

Folding wouldn't be terrible either, and is probably the safer (read: lower variance) play.

You have to reraise preflop esp coming from UTG you can find out where you stand with a raise. For instance I'm raising 22-AA AKo-ATs UTG at 6 max. If you reraise you can isolate. Worst case situation is CO cold calls and UTG folds.

As the hand is played I fold...sadly. You will be putting alot more money into this pot without knowing where you are in the hand and being oop. If you call the flop (assuming UTG folds) you could be faced with a $53 pot on the turn with many cards coming off and not helping you gain info at all.

Any other ideas, I just disagreed with my buddy, who is a high stackes player, about this hand, so I posted it for some discussion.

This is a pretty safe flop for you hand, this smells like a 9. I either reraise and fold to an allin or just call and lead into him with any decent turn card. There is no draw on the board so at bets he is drawing to 5 outs if you are ahead.

When I played that hand I folded on flop pretty quickly, it was a gut feeling - read.

A bit latter I went through the hands played by minraiser and found that he was more than just tight, I would say rockish. He rarely raised and called preflop, postflop he played passive with a marginal hand. And he never ever raised someone in about 80 hands.
So I think it was a good fold agaginst a rock, he couldn't have A9 here, at worst he could have TT.

A bit later I started to think how I should play it against different opponents and it seems that fold is not a good play agaginst a loose player, probably it is neccesary to call and reevaluate on turn, though I am still unsure as a loose opponent can easily have a 2 here.

All-in-all a tough spot to be in.
