I didn't like my overpair, but wasn't ready to give up. I don't much like my laydown to the all-in given the pot odds but I'm hard pressed to see what I can beat vs. what beats me, so I let it go. Thoughts?

There is nothing here you really beat. On the other hand, I think risking a third of my stack to push someone off their hand is pretty insane at a level where people will call with overpairs pretty easily. Especially with people behind. That is a large amount of money you are investing with three players still in the hand.

It just seems like too much to risk if you aren't going the whole way with it. I'm assuming no matter who reraised you, you would be folding in this spot.

I don't like. I think you can wait for much better spots for your money.

Would a fold on the flop be bad?

Villian bet the pot on the flop. He must have something even if its just a draw. We have an overpair to the flop but the next card will change all of that and then we still have the river to deal with.

Maybe with a gut-shot to go with our outs to the 7 and if villian had a big stack that I could get I would continue.
