This is a situation that I run into every now and then and do not know how to play. What is the standard play?


Hero opens in MP with QQ with 5 BB, LP calls and so does BB. No reads on any of them apart from that they have half stacks [edit BB 1/2, LP full], Hero has a full stack.

Flop is three clubs, J high. Hero does not have Qc.
It is checked to hero, who bets the pot [edit: bet 2/3 of pot]. Both calls.

Turn is a a blank, lower than Q. It is checked to hero, who checks. LP bets 2/3 of pot. BB folds. Hero???

How do you play these type of hands?
Should you just give up when you meet resistance?

Lets say this is $200NL so both opponents have $100.

You raised to $10 preflop and they both called so the pot is $30ish

You bet pot and they both called so the pot is now $120 and they have only $60 each. You have no choice but to push all in. Dont check!

Youre example says that LP bets 2/3 pot which is impossible. He doesnt have that much.
