I have some 2 pair issues in limped pots, writing these hands from memory but I think I recall them ok:
I had a hand yesterday which came up today again in a similar shape which I am unsure how to play turn/river on, yesterdays hand:
Effective stacks $350
400$NL 6 MAX
UTG limps, tagfish (350$) limps in MP (18/12/x), I complete KT in BB
Flop:
48K heart flush draw
I lead $10 into $12 pot, UTG folds and tagfish raises to $30, I decide to call one street though its probably a fold.
Turn:
T off
I check, tagfish bets 60 into the 90 pot, I'm probably semitilting and not playing good so I reraise him to $180, he shoves, I call and he has of course 44.
I obviously didn't play the hand very good and losing a stack here is plain awful, I think c/c turn is reasonable play though and Im probably c/c a lot of missed draws on the river.
Now today on 5/10$ 6 MAX I had a similar situation:
Effective stacks 1000$
Decent (though slightly loose, prob 30% vpip or so) tag limps UTG, folded to me who complete in BB with KT
Flop:
KT6 rainbow, pot $20
I lead $20, tag raises to $75, I call.
Turn:5, (with flushdraw) pot $190
I check, he bets $175, I dont want to stack of to a set in a limped pot again so I call.
River:4 (complete backdoor fl draw), pot $540
What is my play ? If i check he probably checks behind with TP and worse. I don't think he plays QJ this aggro so I don't put him on a busted draw really.
On the other hand if I bet he will raise me with a set and I have to fold ?
