Thanks for the replys.
On hand one I raised to $20 hoping to get more of an indication of where I was at. They SB then re-raised me up to $50 (so a further $30) and I folded. He could have any sort of K here, maybe a K with a mid to high diamond. He could also have a made flush (he bet and re-raised with a flush on the flop earlier, although his first bet was stronger that time). I felt that this was a marginal spot and it wasn't worth putting anymore into the hand. I think maybe my bet was too small - it should have been more like 25-30, but I think in this instance, with this player, it wouldn't have made any difference.
Hand 2 I pushed - he showed 33 for the set on the flop and I didn't improve. I thought about this hand for a long time and I think I was correct to push. There are many hands that he does this with that I am beating - I personally thought AK-AT was very possible - and even if he does have a made flush / low set, I still have outs to beat him. I ran some rough numbers through Pokerstove and it seemed to agree that I was in quite a +ve EV spot.
Any comments on the results from these hands?
Thanks,
Martin
