I had been raising all my pocket pairs from any position if not one else had raised using the 4x+1BB rule.
I've had very mixed results, a lot of the times taking it down preflop or with a CB, but when I miss and do get called I lose usually about $15 or $20 which is 1/5th a stack.
Is there a certain rule you 6-max gosus follow? Does the PP have to be so high before you raise it? Will you raise one limper but not two, or two limpers but not three, or do you have any other general rules?
As always I'm aware it depends on the table, but I'm just curious to how you 6-max guros typically handle baby pairs from the SB. I'm thinking I might start only raising one limper but not two or three, but I'm not sure if that's losing way too much value when I do hit a set.
*Extra Credit:* Also being OOP sucks, are you still CBing most flops? I feel like (and my results would probably back it up) limpers/callers are almost always flossing PP's and I can take the pot with a CB a good amount of the time, so I just about always do it. This a leak?
