From LP I like to raise people from time to time who look pretty weak. I'll raise with nothing and show. It gets me more action on my made hands. I did against this guy and showed it a few hands ago. He's an average not too loose, not too tight guy. 35/8 type.

Now I have A[h] J[d] in MP. Villain is BB. Pot is limped. We have full stacks.

Pot ($12) J[h] 7[c] 3[s]. He bets his usual weak $5, I raise to $20. Usually he folds there, but now he calls and we are heads up.

Turn ($52). 9[s]

I've got the action, but how far do I go with TPTK and hand deception. Two scenarios.

1) He leads with $15 on the turn.
2) He checks the turn.

Your play?

this is an extremely dry flop here. the definition of WA/WB. either he has 3 outs or you're drawing dead. if a big pot gets played there's very little chance that you have the best of it. so i would just get to showdown. there's not much you're afraid of seeing on the river

That looks way too weak for me. This is 6 max. Its a whole different ball game. Hands like this are why I love 6 max and will probably never play full ring again. You dont have to always slowdown fearing a big hand on these dry boards.

#1) if he bets $15, I raise to $50
#2) If he checks, I bet $30

I fold to a reraise (or check raise) in either case.

I usually take Iceman's course of action and raise and fold to a CR or push.

The real problem comes when he calls the turn. So does he have KJ or 77? Is it worth it to fire again on the river?

I check behind on the river if called unless I have a read that the guy is a donk (and I have alot of thse reads lately)

I doubt he has 77 though. Most people will reraise a set on the turn with the scenario you gave. Im more worried about a random 2 pair.
