Ongame $100 NL FR
I have been playing pretty loose/aggressive -- partly preflop raising with no cards but with position, and showing when people fold, and partly preflop raising because I've been getting a lot of big pairs and such.
I get KK again in MP, raise to $6 after 2 limpers, only caller is directly behind me. My notes on this guy go like this: He plays for it all with TPTK and overpairs, by betting full pot on every street. He has already taken one full stack and one half stack off a shorty just doing that: KK vs AQ on a Qxxxx board and AK vs who-knows-what on a Kxxxx board. He has over $200, I have about $120.
So. Pot $16 on flop which is QJ8. I bet $16, he calls quickly. I decide to discount T9 as a possibility. I mean, I know it's out there, but if he has it I will live with it.
Pot $48. Turn is , which brings a flush draw. I'm a little nervous about being behind here but I'm not willing to give up yet. I bet $24, he calls pretty quickly again.
Pot $96. River is the which gives me a set but also fills the backdoor flush. I have about $70 left and I decide I can't check/fold or block bet/fold, so I just push.
Comments? I feel like this was pretty marginal all the way, but maybe it's standard...?
