Villains been at the table for 10 hands and new to me as well. Hes played about 6 out of those 10 so I suspect a little bit fishy but 10 hands, who can tell

You've successfully induced a bluff by checking. If he thinks your check meant that the flush card scared you, why would he overbet the pot with a flush?

Betting $41 into a $17 pot is kind of ridiculous. I'm not sure what to make of that. If you had raised preflop and shown a lot of interest in the pot, I think an overbet like this might be a ploy to get you to think he was weak so you might call with your overpair or something. But in an unraised pot where your only show of strength was the flop bet, he's probably just having fun and buying the pot.

So I think push. And if he has the flush or J10, you still have 10 pretty outs.

I would never push there. He is not going to call the push unless he has the made hand. Call as Ice suggests, and Check/Call his inevitable River bluff as well.

But its $41 to call and I only have a further $34 behind, after the call I'm commited anyway. No way I'm going to fold the river getting 4.5:1 or whatever.
