i wonder if anyone would have folded to the turn bet. i find i have a hard time laying down king-high flush once i've got a lot of money committed. even though here it was clear i was likely beaten.

was raising on the turn stupid? i think it probably was since i'm only getting called by a better hand probably. any comments on the hand in general?

The money is going in now or on the river so it really doesnt matter much. You just have to hope he has the [Qc] and not the [Ac]. I would go ahead and get it in now in case he has a set instead of a flush. He may not want to put anything else in on the river with a set if the board doesnt pair.

That set scenario is unlikely, but its the only one I can think of that makes a difference when the money goes in.
