After reading drogga's post about folding AA after an unsucesfull limp raise, I figured I post a hand I played in vegas that shows a great example of why sometimes you just have to fold AA.
I am in mp with , I limp so does the tight passive player in front of me. Blinds complete 4 way flop. Flop is K86 rainbow, blinds check Tight passive player bets $10, ok, he doesnt bet without a hand, he is a passive player, but he does make this bet with top pair, and with the board it is hard for me to put him on two pair. So I call, turn is another king, villian checks, I lead $20, he rai I now put him on KQ and think he thinks he trapping me. I would reraise here but I have postion and I'm pretty sure I get the rest of his money on the river. Another K on the river is a little confusing to me as it proves my read to be wrong. He push's all in. Of course I call with the nuts. He turns over AA. He is frusterated, he is nice about it but points out how lucky i got. Did I get lucky, yup, but I only putany decent amount of money in the pot when I was way ahead and him drawing at 1 out. He asked me if he had pushed all in on the flop if I would have called. I told him yes, even though the answer is not a chance in hell.
