I think I should've raised this up to at least $7 preflop. I actually didn't realize he was sitting on $80 until after I already 3-bet him. That aside, is this standard?

i mean, you have the k of diamonds, which kinda makes a fd alot more unlikely. no straight draw on the board... he raised and smooth called your 3bet preflop. this smells alot like a set. i'd say this dude has aces almost never, but sevens or deuces are like the biggest part of his range for four betting here, i think. i think you have to muck to the flop three bet allin, as deep as you are, given the action.

Call the flop I think. I don't want to scare him away, and he's mostly drawing slim here if he has a weaker Ace. I don't think he has a set, so I want him to keep betting. I don't think he shows up with diamonds all that often, and we have a redraw to the nuts if he does.

I don't like the flop raise.

Yeah, your flop raise is basically saying you are felting your TPTK here, if that was your plan then raise away, which is pretty fine since it is a 3-bet pot, but you did make the 3-bet a shade small considering you are reasonably deep here.

There is still alot of value in raising the flop here, AQ, AJ are probably in his 3-bet calling range and you get value from them. Not sure what else is in his range since you don't mention any reads.

But all in all, I don't really mind felting TPTK ever in a 3-bet pot, obviously it is alot easier when you aren't quite so deep.
