Its my last round of the session. I just raised the last 2 hands with AA and 65s, so I didnt want to raise again with this hand so I limped with [9s] in the cutoff. Normally I raise here.

The button raises to $40 and I call heads up but OOP. Blah. I have $1200. He has $1100

Pot $95. Flop [Qs][6d]. I lead $50 and he calls. Hmmm
Pot $195. Turn Now what? Normally I would say he has AK here and is going to call me down. No specific read though. Just a general observation.

Of course continuing much further on this paired board when he could have KK or QQ could be hazardous to my health also.

Bet? How much? Check/call depending on bet size?

I checked the turn and he checked behind which surprised me. Does he have AQ?

The river was a beautiful giving me a straight flush. Pot is $195. How much do you bet? Or do you prefer a check raise?

I would bet $120 and hope he raises you with a boat.

Also what was your plan if he bet the turn?

River I think you should bet. If he has KK/QQ/JJ he's going to raise and you can push, same thing if he has the nut flush. He *might* fire a bluff with something stupid, but if he has a low PP or something he's most likely going to check behind but might call a bet.

I practically never check/raise the river though, definetely a leak, just can't figure out the right time to do it when I am playing.

i havent read replies yet, but here goes:

i think you have to raise or fold preflop. open-limping in the CO is no fun, as you know.

i wouldnt lead the flop. if button is paying attention he knows that you're tight and solid. you'd raise KK, QQ, and probably 66 preflop. you'd raise AK/KQ/AQ. you're not playing K6 or Q6. and to top it off, your flop bet is weak. there's no hand you could have here besides a draw or a bluff. if i had AK or KQ im calling this flop and hoping you keep betting on the turn

so i would check the turn and hope he gets confused and checks behind. probably fold to any reasonable bet.

if you miss the river, make a big CR and rep the 6, depending on what the river card is.

if you hit, i'd come out betting.

edit: just read replies. definitely lead this river and try to get all in. x[s], KK, and QQ are all very real possibilities here.
