Table Selection!!!

Postby iwanturcoin » Mon Sep 25, 2006 12:39 am

Ok....i've heard so much about how important table selection is and i can can totally understand it, i mean some tables I can get in there and just take control stealing pot after pot.....then i'll get a table where i just keep getting called down or played back at...then i get frustrated and i'm sure you all know where my game goes from there ha! Just started using PT and for the first 5K hands(which i know isn't enough for a solid indication of my true winrate) im at about 8PTBB/100(FR $200NL)........... but i'm certain good table selection will improve my results over time.....i'm playing at Party where PT can't get observed hand histories anymore, so how do you select your tables?? do you guys have any certain pre-requisites for table selection?? i really need some sort of process for this. I play an aggressive style and Vp$Ip is 21%......so i guess i'd be looking for more loose/passive tables ??advice needed!!! cheers
are other sites more profitable??? :?:  :?:

For very aggressive TAGs I think the best tables could be the loose and passive tables. There you can steal and steal and then back down when they show some agression. It's more fun to play and it's also good for your confidence to roll over them. I played a few hands at NL$200 and loose passive tables are not that common
