Ok played this hand earlier, there was a bit of history from previous hands in this session.
Villian is 24/20/6 after 80ish hands. When sat sown he was raising heaps from late so I played payed at him twice, both times he 4-bet me and I folded. The third time he did it I pushed with 55, probably through a bit of frustration and thinking he must be 4-betting pretty lightly. He showed KK, I don't improve. Then this hand came up. I wanted my money back with interest, so I was maybe wrongly so playing for stacks here. Did I try get too fancy here? What do you guys think?
Heres a bit of my thinking with it: I check the flop, giving him a chance to rep the A, with him thinking I may have KK,QQ etc, he may have even called with AJs+, seeing i'd being 3 betting him a bit. I take some time with the turn call like i don't really want to call, looking to raise/bet the river if nothing too scary comes off, which was'nt much anyway cause board looked kinda safe. Then you can see the rest. Was I getting too fancy here or do you think the board was ok for this? Thought please....
