Hi, I'm Stoneburg and I'm a tilter.

I've been tilt free for 4 months and 10 days. Last time I went on a tilting binge I re-raised all-in on a paired flop with a missed AK, against a known set miner, just because I had suffered some bad beats at another table.

Since I haven't been playing much lately it's been easier to control it, but I still feel the urge to make stupid, aggressive -EV moves when I lose a big pot. I know this feeling will never go away but by admitting it and working on it I hope I can continue to play a +EV game and take it one hand at a time.

Ive kept it under control almost completely for the past 3 weeks except for one horrendously stupid check raise all in against a short stack. I raised JJ..he called...
Flop Qxx..I check..he bets pot..I check raise all in. -$70 needlessly, but thats it for 3 weeks and these 3 weeks have been chock full of 2, 4 and 5 outter bad beats so Im happy with my progress

I call river bets when I know I'm beaten. I'm not tilting, though, I'm just crap.

Funny Tilt Story.

So about 8 months ago i was in a terrible streak. I lost 15 set over sets and only had 1 set over set myself. Needless to say, my game went to crap and I tilted all over the place. One hand, I chased my nut flush on a paired board and hit it. He had flopped the full of course.

I immediately turned off the computer and went running outside. I ran, and ran, and ran. About every 9 seconds or so I'd yell, "Chased an Ace High Flush on a Paired Board!" People were staring. The trendy mexican restaurant with a great patio with hot women was laughing. One guy said, "what" I repeated my chant.

I did this for 1 hour and many miles.

I deserved the punishment for being so stupid.
