I don't like to play KQ in EP.

As played, I probably just call the raise on the flop and see what he does on the turn. I can understand your rationale, and agree you can discount the strength of his holdings somewhat, but I personally find a better spot than this.

Did you raise KQo UTG 4x at a NL 25 table??? I just threw up in my mouth a little. Maybe I just play too much at Party and that move is asking for trouble. I fold that hand in every position at this buyin level.

His aggression factor isn't insane, so I'm inclined to let it go on the flop and look for what could be a multitude of better situations. Calling a raise by the fish doesn't sound all too great while having the fish call you down is always better.

While I agree that usually raising with KQ off isn't optimal, at this table where only the villain and 1 other guy were seeing flops and then folding, it wasn't all that bad. It took the guy flopping a flush to play back at me...

I fold KQ UTG. If you want to loosen up against a tight table, I'd do it from LP by limping with almost anything and stealing on the flop.

If his VPIP is anywhere near 75% then I'd assume he's playing any 2 suited. Unless his call PFR% is in the "normal" range, ie 5-10%, I'd also assume he calls PFR's with a lot of suited cards.

The problem with using pokerhand.org is that people can see the result, but no matter - I wouldn't be happy going any further with this hand after his flop raise. This is 25NL at Pacific - how many players raise with a draw?
