FWIW, here were my thoughts at the time.
I thought one had a Q and the other either made his straight with JT or the flush. Villain was screwy enough to have even played 57 for a straight.
If I check raise, I thought the Q's would fold because its a darn scary board by the river. It's Prima and the button wasn't nutso Tribeca guy or anything.
By open pushing it looks like I don't want a call so I'm hoping that a Q makes a heroic call, a backdoor flush makes a call, or even a straight makes a call as my push looks bluffy.
Button folded and Villain took his full time and called with J[c] T[d] for the turned straight. Thanks for not check raising the turn bud.
Anyone hate this line of thinking?
