Just wanted some feedback on my play. I was fearful of a set, but felt pot committed after raising on the turn, and I felt checking was just giving up the pot, and if I was raising, I wanted to raise the pot (was this the right thinking?) . He had position on me too. Like most beginners, I love the big hands, and this is the first one that got any action all night. I don't seem to get much action if raise more than about 3 dollars or so, and it still seems more folks tend to fold to my hands rather than others. Anyways, here is the hand:
