Two hands, what do you think.

Both of these were from Bellagio, 2/5 NL $200 buy in.

Hand 1- BB with 73, 7 players in the pot. Flop is 743 two clubs, super agressive bad player, leads out $20, 4 callers. Hero raises to $120, trying to push out flush draws. Intial bettor pushes all in for another $259.

Hand 2- Hero in EP with [Ah] [Kh] , down to $80 and hasn't rebought yet. Hero makes it $30 to go, rock in seat makes it $100 pushing hero all in.

Hand 1, probably need more information on the people in the pot but barring reads and all that...I push allin. Someone with a set or straight would have raised, but like I said, it depends on the players.

Hand 2, you gotta call after having invested almost 40% of your money in already. You are getting it in with the worst of it more often than not, but he could have AK or QQ making the call marginally correct in my guess (without doing the math).

How is Vegas treating you? Are you there with friends, gf, family?

Hand #1 what is your stack size, the actions of the people in between? If it is $200 I think you got to suck it up and hope he doesn't have 44 and the board doesn't pair counterfeiting your two pair and that a club doesn't hit. The problem with short buy in games to the blinds is that you wind up commited to hands like this quicker than you would other wise. If it looks like every one else is folding.

Hand #2 sucks that super rock just woke up but you are stuck again but may have a split to coin flip, if you are up against KK you do have three outs barring a flush and against AA you will need a lot of help. But if I follow it right you have to call $50 to win $140? It sounds like mathmatically you are not so bad even if he has KK and definitely decent money against any pair or a weaker A.

Sorry I my first post sucked so here is some better clarifiaction.

Hand 1- Hero has $450, bettor had about $350, bettor has been uber aggressive. He has shown both raises and calls with marginal hands but has not pushed a large amount of chips around after the flop, without a good hand.

Every time Ive played a huge pot from the blind with 2 pair like you have this time, the other guy had a set. You like to think he cant have 77 or 33 since you have most of the 7's and 3's covered but the poker gods dont care.

Its situational, but Ive learned to fold alot of the times here unless the guy is a moron.
