I've been playing a bit tighter than usual, but still done a fair amount of preflop raising. Villain is to my immediate left and hasn't gotten out of line. This is the first sizable pot I play against him. He has a half a stack to start.

I get 68d and open-raise from UTG+1. Villain flat calls.
Flop comes 68J, two clubs. I pot for $8, villain flat calls. Turn: offsuit T. Villain has $40 left, pot is $24.

Just pot again and hope for the best? Bet 1/2 pot?

I was going to suggest 16 now and 24 on the river, but there are so many scare cards it's simpler just to push now and hope he can't fold Jx.

Yeah, push here because you aren't folding against the shorty if you bet here. The draws are abundant, and there are alot of cards that can ruin your hand, so making sure opponent pays a good price for drawing is important. Plus, the fact that you are probably ahead of the guy.

Not alot of room to maneuver here against a shortstack, and we sure aren't folding.

Alot of short stack fool will call an all in very quickly with any J.
