No massive read on CO. He seems to be active pre-flop/flop from late position (I didn't have PT running). Only hand I noticed, he raised a limper, 1/4 stack BB reraised to $50, limper cold called, CO pushed and tabled A2s vs BB's KK. He claimed in the chat to have misread his hand.

What do you do against this particular opponent? Against a random opponent?

I don't think you should fold the flop. I vote for the stop and go.

not entirely familiar with the play at this limit level (i play micro's because that's all my roll can support), but here's my attempt.

raising PF for 4BB from your position UTG seems like a standard PFR, and he has to put you on a non monsterous PP, or suited connectors/gappers. having position on you and calling the PFR, he has something at least marginal, perhaps a lower PP, or once again suited connectors/gappers.

that said when the flop hits and you fire out strongly, he has to put you on hitting two pair, or having a high pair, possibly TPTK. noting that he doesn't min raise, and overbets the pot, i'd say he had to have hit pair with a flush draw, two pair or perhaps 2nd/3rd set. then again it might be a bluf raise there, but i'd likely want a stronger read before convincing myself that i was up against a bluff. (although that A2 vs. KK hand you mention looks suspiciously bluffy to me).

i would likely call, and then go on any non-flush card. if he flopped two pair, or a set, you're hosed, but you will likely beat a pair+FD or a bluff.

With the hand you descirbe before this guy sounds like a total donk, but then again you don't seem that sure? I mean, he calls from the CO, he could easily have / - and if he is 'active' post flop that means he is the kind of player that can semi-bluff raise this kind of hand?

Against this guy I think I would call and then use reverse position to shove in on a non- turn card..... probably want to avoid a T or Q as well..

I think there is probably a moral in there somewhere about not taking *too* much account of reads from different situations (eg pre-flop vs short stack), particularly when there is a fairly standard default line (eg big raise here normally = AK no good).
