Hero has [2h] OTB and this is the 3rd hand, never seen the guy before so despite everything I've said before I have no reads.

3 limpers, I limp too, SB completes, BB checks.

Flop ($6) . Chk, chk, UTG bets $5, folds to me. I minraise to $10 to try to slow him down and see a free river, folds to UTG who reraises the min to $15. I "think" and call.

Turn ($36) . He bets $18, I think and call.

River ($72) . He checks pretty quickly. I caught the idiot end of a 4-straight, only 6x beats me, but are enough hands calling me to make this a good value bet? He has $45 left.

Super easy bet isn't it? I'm a moron for even thinking about checking behind aren't I?

This flop play is standard for me at Bodog and works most of the time against these guys. Decent players would clobber it ... but usually what I get is about 1/3 folds, calls from TPGK, and minimum reraises from sets or better ... all of which are awesome for me.

I do raise preflop some of the time with these cards, of course. Depends on the table texture, how often I have been raising, the chance that I think some of the limpers may be playing any two suited in which case I have the chance to stack them flush over flush, etc. This time around it felt like a limp.

I agree it's an instapush on the river. Such a moron I am, I just froze up. He did have the set and would have paid off at least 1/2 pot like ex suggests.
