Everyone above me wrote everything I was thinking. The combination of your mistakes made this hand a disaster. At the very least you should have $14+ in front of you courtesy of $7+ bucks from Towi's call of your all-in.

Ok. hand 1. First of all, like everyones saying, raise more. never, ever, ever. under any circumstances, for whatever reason, in anysituation, min-reraise preflop. if you continue to do this, i promise you, you will go broke.
let me say this one more time, because this is a very very important mistake that a lot of novices make. NEVER MIN RERAISE PREFLOP.


Now that we've taken care of that, why are you checking down second set on that board? you need to be putting more money in the pot. this guy has already put $14 in the pot on the flop. what does that tell you? it tells you he likes his hand. he's not putting $14 in with 93o here. he's putitng $14 in with a big hand. you have second set, for the third nuts. You need to be putting in the rest of your chips on this turn.

Also, the reason you were beat by JT here is because of your preflop raise. If you had made a real raise, JT would likely have folded, and you would have stacked the guy with QQ.

Onto hand 2:
i don't understand what you're doing in the second hand. You overbet the pot on the flop, but then underbet it on the turn. That doesn't even make sense. there is no reason for you to be overbetting the pot. Yes, you got called by an awful hand, but overbetting here is going to lose you a *lot* of money in the long run. The pots $1.60, if you want to make a real bet, then bet $1.60. On the turn your bet should be closer to $5 if you think you have the best hand against someone drawing.

On the river your check is fine. your opponent is a fish. he called all that way with trash, got lucky, and never even bet.

You don't want to get flush and straight draws out, you want them to pay as much as possible to stay in.

If the pot is $5 and my opponent will call $6 with a flush draw, I'm betting $6 not more. I make more money from him chasing than from him folding. As long as I don't pay him off too much...
