lol. I hate these hands...where the villian goes all in out of freaking nowhere on the river with u holding a hand like this.

Call and be prepared to be pwned by the donks quads or AK.... 95% of the time however he'll have an ace, queen, or something ridiculous like JT or a busted flush draw.

Yes, it was the correct call.

The Prima Push doesn't really apply here for me because Sparn lead the river and was raised.

For me the Prima Push happens most often with a shorter stack and in the following:

1) I have TPTK and bet the flop, he calls. Turn ck/ck. River I check (giving him an opportunity to bluff) and he instapushes with 2nd pair, etc. Board is fairly dry.

2) I have TPTK and bet the flop (there's two to a flush), he calls (or better he check/calls if I have position). Turn is no flush and I bet, he calls (or check/called). River is no flush and he instapushes.

Prima Push is a push when you've shown weakness and its inconsistent with the way they hand has played out.
