Local home-game,$1/2 NLHE, 7-handed action (pretty loose game which is making for decent action).
I'm sitting with about $225, playing pretty tight-aggro, when the following hand comes up.
:
A couple people limp when I'm on the button, and the CO, a somewhat a decent player who I have a lot of experience against brings it in for $12, which is the standard opening raise for a good hand at this game (people are bringing it in from between $7-$15).
I look down on A-K off-suit on the button and re-raise to $37 total.
Everyone folds and he calls after like 5 seconds.
Flop is K[d]6[c]5[h].
He checks and I bet $50, he almost instantly says "I'm all-in."
What's your read on him and what's my play? Is there a better way to play this hand regardless of what he had?
