Prima 1/2

LAG is the villan

folded to me in the CO.. I raise to $8 with QJo. LAG calls in the BB

FLOP $16
[Ac][Th][Qc]

He bets $8. Normal for this moron. I raise to $24. He calls.

Turn$64
[Ac][Th][Qc][Ks]

I have teh straight. He checks. I check behind hoping he'll bluff the river.

RIVER $64
[Ac][Th][Qc][Ks][Tc]

Yes!! the worst possible river card for my hand hits!! The full house and flush now both have hit.

He checks...i'm like hmmm.....if I value bet $20 here he'll probably call with an ace or something. so I bet $20. he raises to $40.

I think fuck..wtf. So i call because he's a maniac and the pot is laying me great odds.

He shows [5c][6c] for the low flush.

I swear...I just can't slow play..it never works. :(

did you only raise the flop because he's a maniac or because you raised preflop? You had second pair and gutshot and maniac bets into you. I don't like the situation at all. Call me weak/tight, I might fold this but I do see the point that calling it would be the worst so you have to raise or fold.

Clearly you know where you went wrong in this hand, but I guess I wonder what hand you put him on with his bet and call of your raise? I'd put him on a middle pair or a draw. When the straight hits and he checks you have got to think he is on the flush draw. If this is the case a free card here could be deadly (and was). There is nothing wrong with slow playing, but in NL an in-opportune free card can really hurt you, and is often a -ev play.
