hi everyone! this is my first post at BTP, but i've been lurking here for about 3 months.
this forum has been really helpful when analyzing my own play, so now it's time
for me to contribute.. or something :)

short introduction: i'm a crazy swede who started playing poker in september last year,
mostly freerolls at pokerchamps. then i threw myself into the action and deposited 60 bucks which i lost pretty quickly. later i gave it another go at crypto playing $25nl and haven't made a deposit since. now im playing $100nl at party and pokerrom.
by posting here i hope to get some feedback and improve my play, and maybe be an asset to the forum in the future despite my inexperience..

so to the hand..

no actual read on villain, typical superloose PR-player.
don't want to comment on my own play here before i get some feedback.

i don't like the reraise as it assures that you only get called by a hand that beats you. Sure, you may even be able to get a straight or trips to fold, but a flush is gonna call you so you are really risking 120 to win 34. I don't know how this 4 handed table is playing so I don't know if QT is a possiblity but if I had a straight against you here, i'm calling as I don't see you playing a flush like this and give you a set at best or AQ with Q[d].

If you want to get all in here (which Im not sure I would do), then the best way is to call the raise and then push the turn all in (providing its not a [d], Q or T)

thanks for the comment. i can really see that my play here was horrible. i was a little bit tilted and figuered he was on a flushdraw and would call me with any flushdraw or two pair. so whats your suggestion? normal reraise or just a call?

Rarely do people make a minimum amoutn check raise with just a draw. They do it with a monster hand because they know you wont fold to that small a raise and they want to build a pot so they can make a bigger bet on later streets.

ANY time you see a minimum raise and especially a minumum check raise, you should get really worried unless youve seen that particular player make that play with a variety of hands. A read here is really important.

In this case, yes, I would just call, and then decide if you want to get all in on the turn or not.

this is all read dependent. if you want to get all in, ice's suggestion is one of them, wait for the turn. whether you lead out or check raise all in is also opponent dependent too.

iceman - yes, you're probably right. or maybe i could have reraised and if he calls i'd try to get a cheap showdown or i'm gone.
like i said he is something like vpip 70 and i don't think he knows any other raise than the minraise. but i might be guessing to much here without any solid reads and i should have played it a little more conservatively.

I love betting flops, but I don't bet that one. I think you are way ahead or way behind most hands in a raised pot there.
